Name: John Hogue

John Hogue is a best-selling author, a psychic, and a recognized authority on Nostradamus. He wrote the book Nostradamus and the Millennium in 1987, which sold 700,000 copies, in nine languages. His exhaustive research into the Nostradamus prophecies has brought him to the forefront of Nostradamus researchers.

John Hogue has received international recognition, and has appeared on more than 100 television shows and 700 radio shows, on three continents. In North America, he has made television appearances on The View (ABC), Prophecies of the Millennium (FOX), A&E's Biography: Nostradamus (A&E), Ancient Prophecies Part I-IV (NBC and the Learning Channel), Unsolved Mysteries (CBS), Sightings (FOX/SciFi Channel), The Today Show (NBC), Nostradamus: A Skeptical Inquiry (Discovery Channel), Ancient Mysteries with Leonard Nimoy (A&E), and The Other Nostradamus (History Channel). Internationally, he has appeared on CNN International, and has had interviews on BBC World Radio. He has recently appeared as a guest on History Channel's documentaries: The Next Nostradamus and Nostradamus: 2012. He has authored 14 books, with over 1,300,000 in print in 18 languages.

Born in 1955 to parents in the movie industry, John Hogue has spent time in the professional performing arts as a musical comedy actor and Opera singer, under the tutelage of Broadway star William Chapman. Deciding that heightened consciousness was of more interest than a stage career, he left the performing arts and embarked on an inner journey of self-observation, and began investigating and writing on subjects of the occult, mysticism, new religious movements, parapsychology, and prophecy. His investigations have taken him around the world, and he has spent extensive periods in India, where he experimented with both ancient and modern meditation techniques.
